Vendor Terms & Agreement

Applications must be postmarked by March 25, 2016 to be considered.

Do not send payment with this application. Vendor agreements are not accepted until approved by the Auction Committee.  The Pacific Overland Expo Auction Committee and/or Youth Educational Scholarships, are not responsible for loss or damage.  There will be no discrimination according to race, color, creed, sex, religion, sexual orientation, age, or nationality.  The Auction Staff have total on-site authority and will enforce the rules.

Once approved, accepted vendors must send proof of insurance stating that:

It is agreed that the County of Yamhill, the Yamhill County Fairgrounds, Pacific Overland Expo, its officers, and employees are added as additional insured as respects the named insured’s use of premises furnished by the Yamhill County Fairgrounds and Pacific Overland Expo.

Space will be assigned based upon approval of completed applications and received payment. Space isn’t guaranteed until payment has cleared the bank.

Acceptance notifications will be mailed no later than April 1, 2016. Payment of a check made out to POE Auction and proof of insurance is due upon acceptance and must be received by Pacific Overland Expo no later than April 15, 2016.

The undersigned vendor agrees to exercise the utmost care in the use of the facilities provided by the County of Yamhill for the use of the Pacific Overland Expo Auction.  The vendor also agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Sherwood, Sherwood Saturday Market Inc. Board of Directors, officers, agents, and city employees from any and all claims, actions, judgments, losses, costs (including reasonable attorney fees), and damages whatsoever, including claims arising out of, in connection with, or incident to, the Pacific Overland Expo Auction.

Should a vendor at any time occupy the premises in a manner contrary to the rules of the Auction, or any manner hazardous or offensive to the public or other vendors, upon request of the Auction Staff, the vendor shall be asked to vacate the premises.  Upon failure to so vacate, the Auction Staff is authorized to remove all property of the vendor from the premises at the vendor’s expense.  The Pacific Overland Expo Board of Directors and Auction Staff are relieved and discharged from any and all loss or damage occasioned by such removal.  Pacific Overland Expo shall not be responsible for storage or safekeeping of property so removed.
